An exciting opportunity exists for a Family Violence Prevention Liaison Officer to become a vital part of the Outer Gippsland area team within the South Eastern Victoria Region (SEVR).

The Family Violence Prevention Liaison Officers will collaborate within multidisciplinary teams in local communities, assisting educational institutions and networks in preventing and addressing instances of violence experienced by children, young individuals, and staff.

This position encompasses offering guidance on evidence-based methodologies and interventions, coordinating responses, liaising with specialized services, and striving to integrate systematic approaches and cohesive processes within educational settings for effective family violence response and referrals.

Proven experience and specialized knowledge in family violence response and prevention are highly advantageous for this role, along with a thorough understanding of the Victorian Education system.

Moreover, the Liaison Officer must possess a solid comprehension of the current challenges and opportunities related to family violence interventions and responses, as well as Respectful Relationships, across both early childhood and educational institutions.
