An exciting opportunity is available for a Community Relationship Liaison Officer to become part of the Outer Gippsland area team within the South Eastern Victoria Region (SEVR).

The Community Relationship Liaison Officers will collaborate within multidisciplinary teams in local communities, assisting educational institutions and networks in preventing and addressing instances of violence experienced by children, young individuals, and staff.

This position entails offering guidance on evidence-based methodologies and interventions, coordinating responses, liaising with specialized services, and working to integrate systematic approaches and processes within educational settings for effective family violence response and referrals.

Experience and specialized knowledge in family violence response and prevention are highly desirable for this role, alongside a thorough understanding of the Victorian Education system.

Moreover, the Liaison Officer should possess a solid grasp of current issues and opportunities concerning family violence interventions and responses, as well as Respectful Relationships, applicable in both early childhood and educational institutions.

Can you demonstrate specialized expertise and knowledge in program and project management, exceptional stakeholder management skills, innovative thinking, effective communication, and adept problem-solving abilities? You must have the capacity to navigate complex issues and make decisions that impact staff and stakeholders both within and beyond your immediate work area.

Your ability to collaborate, drive continuous improvement, and foster genuine relationships will be crucial for your success.
