An exciting opportunity exists for a Family Violence Prevention Liaison Officer to be part of the Outer Gippsland area team in the South Eastern Victoria Region (SEVR).

The Family Violence Prevention Liaison Officers will collaborate within multidisciplinary teams in local communities, assisting educational institutions and networks in preventing and addressing incidents of violence experienced by children, young individuals, and staff.

This position entails offering guidance on evidence-based strategies and interventions, coordinating responses, liaising with specialized services, and working to integrate systematic approaches and processes within schools for effective family violence response and referrals.

Expertise and specialized knowledge in family violence response and prevention are highly desirable for this role, alongside a thorough understanding of the Victorian Education system.

Moreover, the Liaison Officer should possess a solid comprehension of current issues and opportunities concerning family violence interventions and responses, as well as Respectful Relationships, applicable to both early childhood settings and educational institutions.

Can you showcase specialized expertise in program and project management, outstanding stakeholder management abilities, innovative thinking, effective communication, and proficient problem-solving skills? You must be capable of navigating complex challenges and making decisions that influence staff and stakeholders beyond your immediate work environment.
