The Precision Companies encompass various specialized units, including Precision Fabricating & Cleaning Co., Inc. (PFC), Precision Mechanical Inc. (PMI), and Precision Enterprises, Inc. (PEI). Established in 1964, PFC has been a continuous provider of services to the process industry, including sectors such as aerospace, food and beverage, energy, and automotive.
Our expertise includes diverse welding techniques, tube and pipe fabrication, structural fabrication, and metal treatment services. PFC is particularly skilled in assembling process and ground support equipment, offering modular construction and precision cleaning services for piping systems and components.
PMI has been delivering mechanical services since 1986, catering to a wide range of government, industrial, commercial, and institutional clients. Their services include the installation of process piping, plumbing, and HVAC systems in various facilities.
Principal Responsibilities:
- Manage material logistics effectively, ensuring the accurate flow of materials from suppliers to production.
- Identify and relocate parts and materials as necessary.
- Analyze stock levels and usage to address shortages through requisitioning.
- Track purchase orders and liaise with vendors to ensure compliance with delivery schedules.
- Coordinate the return of materials and interface with the receiving area for accurate recording of material receipts.
- Collect and prepare materials for production, maintaining accurate inventory records.
Requirements:
- Proficiency in MS Word and Excel, with the ability to create and manage spreadsheets.
- Familiarity with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience in logistics or material handling is essential.
- Ability to operate a forklift and read measuring tools.
Capabilities:
- Knowledge of material handling, scheduling, and invoice reconciliation.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to sit for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds.
- Capable of operating standard office equipment and machinery.
Pay Range:
$18.00 - $22.00
