Compensation Consultant Job Description

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Compensation Consultant to design, administer, and support compensation department programs, projects, and initiatives that align with business strategies and talent objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct data reporting and analytics to generate insights and recommendations for compensation strategy.
  • Design and administer compensation programs, including base pay and salary structures, short and long-term incentive design, market benchmarking, and merit increase and bonus plan administration.
  • Monitor the effectiveness of existing plans, policies, processes, guidelines, and procedures, recommending new plans consistent with business needs and compensation trends.
  • Support the year-end compensation process and the training/communications requirements of compensation programs.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders, including other HR centers of excellence, corporate functional areas, and HR teams across the company.
  • Identify and implement opportunities for process improvements and efficiency gains.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related field.
  • ~3+ years of experience in compensation management, including project management, data analysis, and strategic planning.
  • Strong knowledge of compensation fundamentals, including design principles, administration, and strategic planning.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
