Job Summary

BYD COACH & BUS LLC is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Warranty Administrator to join our team in Lancaster, CA. As a Warranty Administrator, you will be responsible for processing warranty paperwork, communicating with vendors and service teams, and ensuring timely payment to customers and dealerships.

Key Responsibilities
  • Warranty Claim Processing
    • Process all warranty claims in a timely and accurate manner, ensuring proper documentation and verification of vendor or customer requirements.
    • Communicate with vendors and service teams to define the scope of warranty claim resolution and set expectations.
  • Reconciliation and Payment
    • Reconcile all warranty receivables and work with corresponding departments to obtain payments.
    • Ensure customers and dealerships are paid for all warranty work in an accurate and timely fashion.
  • Claim Resolution and Follow-up
    • Handle rejected claims according to dealership and/or manufacturer specifications.
    • Follow up on outstanding claims to ensure timely resolution.
  • Part Procurement and Coordination
    • Arrange and coordinate with internal teams and vendors/manufacturers to ensure prompt receipt of replacement parts.
Requirements
  • Experience
    • Minimum 1 year experience in a similar role.
  • Skills
    • Self-starter with high level of initiative and strong sense of urgency.
    • Ability to multi-task accurately in a fast-paced environment.
    • Ability to effectively work both independently and in a team setting.
    • Highly organized with attention to details.
    • Problem-solving skills and ability to maintain composure under stress.
    • Excellent administrative, organizational, and communication skills.
    • Excellent customer service and prospecting skills.
    • Good knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel.
