Job Overview
Pilot Freight Services is seeking a dedicated Customer Service professional to join our team. This full-time position is essential for maintaining effective communication with clients, suppliers, and internal staff.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage all aspects of the shipment process, ensuring adherence to specific client requirements.
- Engage with a high volume of customer inquiries via phone and email.
- Maintain and update shipment documentation accurately.
- Provide rate estimates, coordinate freight routing for both air and ground transport, and track shipments effectively.
- Collaborate with various stakeholders, including clients, carriers, and agents through multiple communication channels.
- Address customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly.
- Handle miscellaneous administrative tasks, including reporting and documentation.
Qualifications:
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in customer service within the transportation sector.
- Proven ability to manage a high volume of calls and emails efficiently.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical abilities.
- Preference for candidates who are college students or graduates; high school graduates with relevant experience will also be considered.
Education:
High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
