We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Director of Operations and Engineering to join our team at Nexstar Broadcasting. This is a key leadership role that will oversee network operations departments in key cities, ensuring operational efficiency and driving strategic initiatives to meet budget targets.
Key Responsibilities- Operational Leadership: Manage regional operations personnel and oversee network programming, live event broadcasts, technical equipment, and new technology.
- Strategic Planning: Collaborate with executive leadership to develop long-term strategic plans and maintain operating and capital budgets.
- Union Relations: Work closely with Labor Relations on union contracts and Nexstar HR on CBA agreements.
- Process Improvement: Assess current SOPs, identify opportunities for improvement, and implement strategies to address operational issues.
- Reporting and Analysis: Report on key operational processes, financial budgets, and performance indicators.
- 7-10 years of experience in network news or studio operations.
- Prior experience in a director-level role or above.
- Strong operational and financial acumen with measurable success in executing plans within budget.
- Bachelor's Degree in business, communications, or related field preferred.
A competitive salary range of $200,000 - $230,000 annualized, and the opportunity to work with a dynamic team at Nexstar Broadcasting.
