POSITION OVERVIEW:
Security Management
Ensures the comprehensive safety of facilities and personnel
Implements effective security protocols
Reports malfunctioning security systems and equipment
Oversees access control measures, including temporary badge issuance and visitor management
Conducts routine security system tests
Responds to alarms and emergency calls, determining appropriate actions based on the situation
Completes necessary reports and identifies security vulnerabilities
Addresses incidents involving unauthorized individuals
Conducts foot patrols to monitor for hazards, suspicious activities, or safety concerns
Checks building entrances and exits to ensure they are secure; documents any discrepancies and reports to management
Facilitates access for contractors and visitors to the facility.
Provides security escorts for employees and guests as required

Safety Oversight
Conducts regular safety drills and inspections
Participates actively in the Emergency Response Team
Responds promptly to emergencies and coordinates with emergency services
Addresses safety concerns immediately and collaborates with supervisors for lasting solutions

Asset Protection
Enforces policies regarding vendor samples and testing
Investigates incidents of theft, both internal and external
Assists in the deployment of surveillance tools to support investigations
Communicates theft-related issues to management

General Responsibilities
Engages team members to foster a secure and welcoming environment
Provides assistance to colleagues with safety-related needs
Welcomes visitors and ensures a seamless check-in experience
Collaborates with Human Resources for escorting departing employees
Supports crisis management efforts as necessary
Assists with daily operational tasks as assigned

REQUIREMENTS:
High School Diploma or Equivalent
1-3 years of experience in security and safety management
