Role Summary
As a Loan Processing Specialist, you will ensure that all loan documentation complies with established credit union policies and regulations. This role involves performing administrative tasks that support the Loan Servicing department's operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate documentation, records, and logs for liens and out-of-state titles.
- Process requests for loan payoffs and lien releases.
- Assist in the auditing of loan documentation.
- Handle pay-by-phone payment postings.
- Manage general office tasks and respond to job-related inquiries via phone.
- Act as a backup receptionist when necessary.
- Perform additional responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 1 year of office experience, preferably in a financial institution.
- High school diploma or GED required.
Skills and Attributes
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to organize and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy.
- Proficient in operating office equipment, including switchboards.
- Familiarity with credit union lending policies and procedures.
- Basic mathematical skills.
