$18.00 per hour plus a $1,000 sign-on bonus*

Job Description

We are seeking a qualified Mental Health Technician to join our team of dedicated professionals. As a member of our interdisciplinary team, you will provide quality psychiatric nursing care to clients ranging from preadolescents to adults. Your approach should be centered on interventions designed to provide appropriate care for each individual consumer and assist them in reaching their wellness goals.

Essential Functions
  • Provide age-appropriate care for psychiatric patients
  • Require bending, lifting, and transporting patients
  • Possess skills to provide patient groups
  • Complete a minimum of 52 educational activities per year
  • Provide feedback to enhance patient care in peer evaluations
  • Act as a preceptor and mentor to new employees as needed
  • Participate in the interdisciplinary team by providing patient information and recommendations
Required Skills and Qualifications

To thrive in this role, you must be comfortable working closely with people who have acute behavioral health needs. A high school diploma or equivalent and at least one year of psychiatric or nursing experience are preferred.
