Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Medical Nurse Specialist to join our team at Healthcare Staffing Professionals, Inc. in North Carolina. This is an exciting opportunity for a Licensed Practical Nurse to work in a correctional setting.

Compensation and Benefits
  • Competitive salary: $1,620 - $2,260 per week, depending on the schedule (36-hour or 48-hour)
  • Weekly travel stipend: $720 - $960
Job Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing routine care, administering medication, and assisting with medical treatments for inmates. They will also monitor and document patients' health conditions, reporting any significant changes to the medical team.

Key Qualifications
  • 1+ years of LPN experience within the last 3 years
  • 1 year nursing experience required; 1 year psychiatric experience preferred
  • BLS from American Heart Association required
  • Experience in correctional or institutional settings preferred
