Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Medical Records Coordinator to join our team at LifeBridge Health. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate and up-to-date patient records, ensuring timely data entry, and providing exceptional support to our nursing staff and physicians.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain and process medical records throughout patient hospitalization
  • Assure timely data entry and accuracy of information
  • Set up and break down patient charts
  • Complete chart abstracts and prepare medical records for intra and inter-hospital transfers
  • Work directly with the Nurse Manager/designee to maintain medical records during internal and external disasters
  • Maintain manual backup system for transcription of physician's orders during computer downtimes
  • Print order forms and labels as requested
  • File test results, transcribed notes, and procedure reports in medical records
Requirements

Basic entry knowledge; 1-3 years of unit clerk/administrative experience
