Key Responsibilities:

  • Respond promptly to guest requests with a friendly and effective approach.
  • Diagnose and repair basic maintenance issues, including electrical, HVAC, and plumbing systems in guest rooms.
  • Perform routine preventative maintenance on all furniture, fixtures, and equipment in guest accommodations.
  • Conduct regular inspections of plumbing systems.
  • Manage the hotel's lighting requirements.
  • Ensure all appliances are functioning properly.
  • Adhere to safety protocols and regulations, including fire safety measures.

Qualifications:

  • High School diploma or GED; or one to two years of relevant experience and/or training.
  • Familiarity with basic repair and maintenance tasks, including carpentry, painting, and blueprint interpretation.
  • Proficient in reading, writing, and speaking English.
  • Basic mathematical skills.
  • Basic computer proficiency.
