Key Responsibilities:
- Respond promptly to guest requests with a friendly and effective approach.
- Diagnose and repair basic maintenance issues, including electrical, HVAC, and plumbing systems in guest rooms.
- Perform routine preventative maintenance on all furniture, fixtures, and equipment in guest accommodations.
- Conduct regular inspections of plumbing systems.
- Manage the hotel's lighting requirements.
- Ensure all appliances are functioning properly.
- Adhere to safety protocols and regulations, including fire safety measures.
Qualifications:
- High School diploma or GED; or one to two years of relevant experience and/or training.
- Familiarity with basic repair and maintenance tasks, including carpentry, painting, and blueprint interpretation.
- Proficient in reading, writing, and speaking English.
- Basic mathematical skills.
- Basic computer proficiency.
