Role Overview

Pilot Flying J is in search of a seasoned Retail Operations Manager to oversee our bustling retail facilities. You will be tasked with the development and implementation of business strategies for travel centers and restaurants to meet established standards, sales goals, and customer satisfaction.

The Retail Operations Manager will also be responsible for:

  • Meeting and exceeding customer expectations
  • Conducting regular meetings with team members
  • Maintaining strong vendor relationships

In this role, you will have the opportunity to build, mentor, manage, and develop teams through effective staffing, interviewing, hiring, and training processes.

Additional responsibilities include:

  • Driving sales growth
  • Overseeing team performance
  • Monitoring inventory levels
  • Delivering exceptional customer service
  • Conducting profit and loss analysis

**Compensation**: Starting pay ranges from $67,000 to $80,700 annually.

Candidate Qualifications

As a Retail Operations Manager, you must demonstrate integrity and accountability at the managerial level while showcasing outstanding leadership skills. A flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays, is essential.

Additional qualifications include:

  • 2-3 years of management experience in retail, restaurant, grocery, or service industries with financial responsibility
  • Proven management experience in high-volume retail with profit and loss accountability
  • Ability to foster and maintain a customer-centric culture
