Navita Health is seeking an experienced Executive Director to lead our residential substance use and mental health facility. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for overseeing the strategic direction and operational management of our facility, ensuring the delivery of high-quality, evidence-based care to our residents.
Key Responsibilities- Leadership and Strategic Planning: Provide visionary leadership to achieve the facility's mission and strategic objectives, develop and implement strategic plans in alignment with Navita Health's goals, and foster a culture of excellence, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
- Operational Management: Oversee daily operations, ensuring efficient and effective service delivery, implement and monitor policies, procedures, and best practices to enhance operational performance, and ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and accreditation standards.
- Financial Management: Develop, manage, and monitor the annual budget to ensure financial health and sustainability, oversee financial performance, including revenue generation, expense control, and profitability, identify and pursue opportunities for revenue growth and cost reduction, and ensure compliance with financial policies, procedures, and reporting requirements.
- Quality and Compliance: Ensure that all programs and services adhere to quality standards and best practices, maintain compliance with local, state, and federal regulations, as well as accreditation requirements, implement and oversee quality assurance and performance improvement initiatives, and conduct regular audits and assessments to ensure ongoing compliance and quality.
- Staff Management and Development: Recruit, hire, train, and supervise staff, ensuring they are well-equipped to perform their roles, conduct regular performance evaluations and provide feedback, coaching, and professional development opportunities, and promote a positive work environment that supports staff engagement, satisfaction, and retention.
- Resident Care and Support: Ensure that residents receive high-quality, person-centered care and support, develop and maintain positive relationships with residents, families, and guardians, address and resolve resident concerns or complaints in a timely and compassionate manner, and promote resident engagement and participation in facility programs and activities.
- Program Development and Implementation: Assist clinical with the design, implementation, and evaluation of programs and services to meet the needs of residents, ensure that all programs adhere to best practices and evidence-based treatment methodologies, monitor program outcomes and make data-driven decisions to enhance service delivery, and collaborate with other organizations and agencies to enhance service delivery and support.
- Education: Master's degree in Social Work, Psychology, Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of leadership experience in a substance use treatment, behavioral health, or residential care setting, with experience working with adults in behavioral health treatment.
- Skills: Strong leadership and management abilities, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, proficiency in financial management and budgeting, knowledge of regulatory compliance and quality assurance standards, ability to develop and implement effective programs and services, and strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Certifications: Relevant professional licenses or certifications (e.g., LCSW, LMFT, LPC) preferred.
- Primarily works in an office setting within the residential facility.
- May require occasional evening or weekend hours.
- On-call responsibilities to address urgent issues or emergencies.
