We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Finance and Operations Director to join our team and play a pivotal role in shaping the company's financial strategy and operational excellence.
Job OverviewThe Finance and Operations Director will be responsible for overseeing all financial and operational aspects of the company, ensuring its continued growth and success. This role requires a strategic thinker with a strong background in finance, accounting, and operations management within the consulting industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Financial Management
- Develop and implement financial strategies aligned with the company's overall business objectives
- Oversee all aspects of financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting
- Manage cash flow and maintain strong relationships with banking partners
- Ensure compliance with all relevant financial regulations and reporting requirements
- Provide financial analysis and insights to support decision-making at the executive level
- Operational Leadership
- Optimize operational processes to enhance efficiency and productivity across the organization
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to streamline operations
- Oversee project management and resource allocation to maximize profitability
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth integration of financial and operational strategies
- Team Management
- Lead and mentor the finance and operations teams
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation
- Recruit, train, and develop high-performing team members
- Strategic Planning
- Participate in setting overall business strategy as a member of the executive team
- Identify opportunities for business growth and cost optimization
- Evaluate potential mergers, acquisitions, or partnerships from a financial and operational perspective
Requirements:
- Education and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; MBA or CPA preferred
- Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in finance and operations roles
- At least 5 years of experience in a senior leadership position within the consulting industry
- Skills and Competencies
- Strong financial acumen and ability to translate complex financial data into actionable insights
- Excellent leadership and team management skills
- Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities
- Proficiency in financial modeling and analysis
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Experience with ERP systems and financial software
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
