Join StandardAero, a leader in MRO services and customized solutions in the aerospace field, and take your career to new heights. As a CNC Programmer, you will play a vital role in ensuring the reliability of aviation repair and maintenance through training and preparation.

**Key Responsibilities:**

* Develop, write, revise, document, test, implement, and control programs for computer numerically controlled (CNC) machines and related fixturing.
* Prepare machine/process setup and operating instructions.
* Design and/or manufacture jigs and fixtures from sketches, requirement descriptions, or drawings.
* Provide support, training, and problem resolution to operations personnel who use computer numerically controlled machines.
* Liaise with engineering regarding component repairs, inspection, and induction of new repairs.
* Monitor performance, conduct feasibility studies, and implement process improvements for computer numerically controlled machines.
* Prepare technical specifications and cost-benefit analysis for procurement of capital equipment.
* Liaise with management in the procurement process.
* Observe all applicable safety requirements and report immediately any unsafe practices/conditions.
* Carry out special projects as assigned.

**Requirements:**

* Thorough understanding of repair design and development engineering manufacturing process, tool design, and fabrication methods and processes.
* Strong organizational, analytical, and oral and written communication skills.
* Thorough knowledge of computer-aided design and manufacturing (CAD/CAM) systems.
* Ability to read, understand, and interpret blueprints.
* Familiarity with Fanuc and Haas controls and the ability to program at the machine, as needed.
* Prior experience as a machinist or toolmaker is preferred.
* High School Diploma or equivalent.
* Minimum 3 to 5 years relevant experience.
* Experience with Microsoft Office is a plus.
* College diploma in manufacturing technology or a related discipline; or equivalent is a plus.
* Must be a US Citizen or a US Permanent Resident per ITAR regulations.
