Position Summary

As a Retail Operations Manager, you will oversee the performance of our retail locations, ensuring that sales targets, productivity levels, and service quality are consistently achieved. You will mentor and engage with team members and customers, addressing escalated concerns and ensuring a positive shopping experience. Your role will involve enforcing store policies and optimizing staffing to enhance service delivery and compliance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Evaluate the performance of retail staff and provide constructive feedback to maximize customer satisfaction.
  • Ensure accurate cash handling and train staff on best practices for financial transactions.
  • Develop and maintain a skilled team of Retail Sales Agents through effective training and motivation.
  • Monitor service quality to ensure compliance with company standards.
  • Assist in managing employee records and payroll processes.
  • Guarantee timely store openings and closings.
  • Support management in controlling operational expenses.
  • Report any significant cash discrepancies and take necessary disciplinary actions.
  • Facilitate regular team meetings to discuss performance and strategies.
  • Communicate sales objectives clearly to team members and track their progress.
  • Formulate and implement retail strategies to drive sales and operational efficiency.
  • Maximize profitability through effective customer interactions.
  • Ensure merchandising displays align with company standards.
  • Collaborate with other departments to increase store traffic and participate in promotional events.
  • Be flexible in traveling to various store locations as needed.
  • Supervise staff performance, attendance, and training requirements.
  • Assist in the recruitment and performance evaluation of Retail Sales Consultants.
Qualifications
  • Associate Degree in Business preferred; High School diploma required; at least five years of relevant sales experience in a customer-focused environment.
  • A minimum of three years in a high-volume retail or customer service setting.
  • Bilingual candidates, particularly Spanish speakers, are highly preferred.
  • Ability to thrive under pressure while managing multiple tasks.
  • Experience in fast-paced retail environments is essential.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel and Word.
  • Flexibility to work extended hours, including nights and weekends.
  • Strong supervisory skills, including coaching and time management.
  • Valid Driver's License and willingness to travel to multiple locations.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
  • Strong customer service orientation.
  • Capability to lead and inspire a high-performing sales team.
  • Physical ability to lift and carry equipment up to 35 pounds.
