Job Overview

Position Title: Machinery Technician

As a Machinery Technician, your primary responsibility will be to configure and manage various types of machinery, including Plasma Arc Plate cutters, threaders, Hydraulic and Manual Press Brakes, Plate Rolls, Angle Rolls, Laser cutters, and Saws. You will interpret engineering schematics or work orders, select appropriate tools, fixtures, and equipment settings to effectively cut, bend, or roll components. It is essential to produce parts within specified tolerances and timelines, accurately complete and document work orders for each task, and conduct preventative maintenance on machinery to ensure optimal functionality. Adherence to all safety and operational protocols is mandatory. You will also be expected to arrive punctually as scheduled, perform additional related tasks as needed, and collaborate effectively as part of a team.

Key Competencies
  • Proficient in operating Plasma Arc Plate cutters, threaders, Hydraulic and Manual Press Brakes, Plate Rolls, Angle Rolls, Laser cutters, and Saws
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering schematics or work orders
