Position Summary

As the Facilities Operations Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in executing the maintenance strategy for a key client's site. Your responsibilities will encompass leading the maintenance crew, crafting and executing maintenance initiatives, and collaborating with our client to ensure all facility systems are operating at peak efficiency. You will also monitor essential performance metrics (KPIs) and guarantee that performance objectives are achieved. Furthermore, you will provide specialized knowledge and assistance to facilitate the effective deployment and acceptance of our services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the upkeep and repair of facility systems, including mechanical, HVAC, plumbing, and CMMS.
  • Engage actively in business development efforts, such as pricing strategies, presentations, and client interactions.
  • Design and execute maintenance initiatives, covering preventive, proactive, and corrective measures.
  • Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs), including Mean Time to Repair (MTTR) and Mean Time Between Failures (MTBF), as well as work order statuses and project completions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to devise and implement account strategies aimed at sourcing new services.
  • Establish and nurture effective relationships with key stakeholders, including senior management, clients, and suppliers.
  • Work alongside stakeholders to ensure facilities meet operational standards and comply with all relevant regulations.
  • Evaluate existing maintenance programs for facilities, including preventive maintenance schedules, and provide guidance for best practices implementation.
  • Guide and mentor team members to ensure successful operational execution.
  • Conduct mandatory weekly meetings with direct reports to assess current and future operations.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Facilities Management, Business Administration, or a minimum of 10 years of operational experience in facilities management and maintenance within industrial, commercial, or mission-critical environments.
  • Robust technical understanding of facility systems.
  • Proven experience in developing and executing maintenance programs, including KPIs for preventive, proactive, and corrective maintenance, along with tracking MTTR and MTBF.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities, capable of working effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Strong leadership capabilities, with experience managing teams of varying sizes and providing coaching and mentorship.
  • Ability to operate independently and make informed decisions with minimal oversight.
