About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Banking Relationship Officer to join our team at BMO Financial Group. As a key member of our commercial lending team, you will be responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with our clients, providing expert advice and guidance on their financial needs, and identifying opportunities to grow our business.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their business needs and providing tailored solutions to meet their financial goals.
  • Conduct thorough credit analysis and risk assessments to ensure the soundness of lending decisions.
  • Work closely with internal stakeholders to identify and pursue new business opportunities, and to develop and implement strategies to grow our business.
  • Stay up-to-date with market trends and competitor activity, and provide insights and recommendations to senior management.
  • Collaborate with other teams to ensure seamless delivery of services to clients.
Requirements
  • Minimum 7 years of experience in commercial lending or a related field.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and make sound judgments.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Strong business acumen, with a deep understanding of financial markets and trends.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with multiple priorities and deadlines.
