Position Overview:

The Cashier Service team plays a crucial role in delivering outstanding customer service at Miguel's Jr. Our Cashiers are responsible for ensuring that every guest feels welcomed and that their orders meet our high standards, contributing to an exceptional dining experience.

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Processing food orders through a cash register POS System.
  • Handling cash and credit transactions efficiently.
  • Serving food to guests at their tables.
  • Packaging takeout orders with care.
  • Maintaining supplies at the salsa bar, drink cup lids, and napkins.
  • Ensuring that fresh beverages like coffee, tea, lemonade, and horchata are readily available.
  • Upholding cleanliness standards throughout the restaurant, including restrooms.
  • Addressing customer inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
  • Taking pride in delivering exceptional service to guests.
  • Conducting daily food safety HACCP checks.
  • Completing additional tasks as assigned by supervisors.

Qualifications:

  • Basic knowledge of PC operations.
  • Ability to manage cash and credit transactions accurately.
  • Capability to stand for extended periods.
  • Strong multitasking and prioritization skills.
  • Excellent verbal communication skills.
  • Completion of a food handlers' card upon hire.
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent.
