About the Role
We are seeking a skilled MRI Technologist to join our team at Prisma Health. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging department, you will play a critical role in delivering high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate MRI equipment to produce high-quality images, ensuring optimal patient care and safety.
- Screen patients and staff for magnet safety, adhering to Prisma Health's values and protocols.
- Perform procedures proficiently, maintaining high-quality standards and adhering to scanning protocols.
- Communicate effectively with patients and medical staff, ensuring accurate and timely completion of exams.
- Prepare scan rooms, maintain supplies, and administer contrast materials as needed.
- Implement emergency procedures and perform quality control tasks to ensure standards are met.
- Provide clinical instruction to staff technologists and students, and coordinate daily workflow as needed.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
- ARRT registered in Radiology & MRI, or ARRT registered in MRI, or ARMRIT certification.
- BLS certification.
