Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled HR Manager to join our team at Jefferson Wells International Inc. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing coaching to department leaders on recruiting practices, performance, and talent management strategies. They will also lead employee relations investigations and promote diversity, equity, and inclusion by implementing inclusive recruitment and hiring practices. Additionally, they will act as a business partner to the HR team and Vice President of HR to achieve university goals. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in human resources or a related field and a minimum of 3-5 years of progressive, professional-level HR experience. Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide coaching to department leaders on recruiting practices, performance, and talent management strategies.
  • Lead employee relations investigations and implement inclusive recruitment and hiring practices.
  • Act as a business partner to the HR team and Vice President of HR to achieve university goals.
  • Assist with the development of policies and procedures regarding employment, staffing, and turnover.
  • Manage the performance improvement process with business leaders, disciplinary actions, terminations, ethics violations, and other types of unprofessional conduct.
  • Deliver people analytics to business units to enhance their understanding of their department people metrics.
  • Deliver and facilitate new employee orientation and onboarding, supervisor training, and other training initiatives as needed.
  • Coordinate and deliver staff/faculty engagement events, projects, and other duties as required.
