Job Summary

We are seeking an Electronic Technician to join our team at the Ohio State Government's Public Safety department. As an Electronic Technician, you will be responsible for installing, servicing, diagnosing, calibrating, repairing, and performing preventative maintenance on MARCS mobile and two-way radio systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Install and service MARCS mobile and two-way radio systems
  • Diagnose and repair faults in MARCS mobile equipment
  • Perform preventative maintenance on MARCS mobile and two-way radio systems
  • Coordinate and conduct periodic tests on MARCS mobile equipment with external partners
  • Interact closely with program managers to ensure coordination of information for assigned projects
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • 2+ years of experience in electronics or a related field
  • Strong knowledge of MARCS mobile and two-way radio systems
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
