Job Summary

As a Traffic Engineering Specialist at OHM Advisors, you will play a key role in advancing communities through people-focused problem solving, design, and ideas. Our dynamic team of professionals works collaboratively across multiple service areas in multiple states, including architecture, engineering, planning, surveying, and construction engineering.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform traffic engineering tasks for a wide variety of projects ranging in size and scope.
  • Work with a multidisciplinary team of planners, engineers, and technicians on projects from traffic studies to signing, pavement marking, signal design, and maintenance of traffic as well as design/construction documents.
  • Familiarity with the Highway Capacity Manual, Highway Safety Manual, ITE Trip Generation Manual, Roadside Design Guide, AASHTO "Green Book," and/or roadway design and highway lighting experience is a plus.
  • Proficient in software tools such as OpenRoads Designer, Microstation, and/or AutoCAD, and knowledgeable in other software tools such as HCS, Transmodeler, and/or Synchro/SimTraffic.
  • Engineering License and approximately 5 years' experience with Traffic engineering are required.
