Job Summary
Schulte Hospitality Group is seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Customer Service Ambassador to join our team at Graduate East Lansing. As a key member of our front desk team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional guest experiences and ensuring seamless interactions with our guests.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide warm and personalized greetings to guests upon arrival, ensuring a positive first impression.
- Review daily arrival lists and assist in preparing and delivering welcome amenities to guests.
- Escort VIP guests to their rooms and ensure their needs are met prior to arrival.
- Answer phone calls in a timely and professional manner, addressing guest inquiries and concerns.
- Count and reconcile cash at the beginning and end of each shift, adhering to proper cash handling procedures.
- Maintain a clean and organized front desk area, ensuring a welcoming environment for guests.
- Participate in lobby activation and contribute to creating a positive atmosphere for guests.
- Utilize proper procedures when handling guest personal data and maintain confidentiality.
- Communicate key points to ensure a seamless Graduate Arrival experience.
- Follow through on guest requests and resolve any issues in a professional and efficient manner.
- Participate in the Front Desk upsell program to enhance revenue and guest satisfaction.
- Collect necessary identification documents and payment from guests upon arrival.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Requirements
- Prior customer service experience.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Basic computer skills.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to exceed guest and team member expectations.
- Excellent time management skills.
