Production Engineering Manager

As a key member of our executive leadership team, you will lead a team of manufacturing engineers to develop, implement, and optimize manufacturing processes for aircraft components and assemblies. Your expertise will ensure that production activities meet quality standards, cost efficiency, and timeline goals, all while adhering to industry regulations and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Leadership & Management: Mentor, develop, and lead a team of manufacturing engineers to align with project objectives, fostering a collaborative environment that encourages innovation and continuous improvement.
  • Process Development & Optimization: Oversee the design, implementation, and optimization of manufacturing processes, collaborating with design engineering teams to ensure product manufacturability and driving lean manufacturing practices and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Quality & Compliance: Ensure manufacturing processes meet industry regulations and customer requirements, working closely with Quality Assurance to resolve manufacturing issues and uphold product quality.
  • Project Management: Lead manufacturing engineering projects from concept to completion, coordinating with cross-functional teams to ensure project success and timely delivery.
Requirements:
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
  • Experience: 7-10 years in manufacturing engineering, with 3-5 years in a leadership role, and strong knowledge of aerospace industry standards preferred.
  • Skills: Excellent leadership and team management abilities, proficiency in CAD software, manufacturing simulation tools, and ERP systems, understanding of lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies, and exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
