Job Responsibilities:
  • Evaluate and treat patients with speech, language, cognitive, voice, and swallowing disorders on an inpatient and outpatient basis.
  • Conduct Modified Barium Swallow studies in coordination with Radiology and perform, interpret, and apply results from Fiberoptic Evaluation of Swallow Studies (FEES).
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address patients' communication and swallowing needs.
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care and education to patients and their families.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest research and best practices in speech-language pathology to provide evidence-based care.
Requirements:
  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
  • Certification by the American Speech and Hearing Association (CCC-SLP).
  • Current New York State license and registration in Speech Language Pathology.
  • Experience working with patients with complex medical conditions and swallowing disorders.
  • Strong documentation and communication skills.
