Job Description

We are seeking a part-time speech-language pathologist to join our team. As a speech-language pathologist with NY Speech Pathology Consultants, you will have the opportunity to work with adults with communication and swallowing disorders in their private homes in Nassau county. This is a per diem position offering $600-$1000/week, with the salary dependent on your desired number of hours.

Responsibilities

  • Provides communication and swallowing evaluations and treatment to adults
  • Writes evaluation reports, daily treatment notes, progress notes, and discharge notes

Qualifications

  • Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Current New York State Speech Language Pathology license and registration
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Minimum 1 year of experience working with adults with communication and swallowing disorders
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
