Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Claims Representative I to join our team at Elevance Health. As a Claims Representative I, you will be responsible for processing and analyzing claims for payment, ensuring that all necessary information is provided and that payments are made in a timely manner.

Key Responsibilities
  • Process and analyze claims for payment, ensuring that all necessary information is provided
  • Research and resolve claims issues in a timely and efficient manner
  • Communicate with claimants, providers, and other stakeholders to resolve claims issues
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of claims processing and resolution
  • Meet productivity and quality standards for claims processing and resolution
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Related experience in claims processing or a related field preferred
  • Good communication and analytical skills required
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet productivity and quality standards
Preferred Skills
  • Previous experience in claims processing or a related field
  • Knowledge of insurance regulations and laws
  • Ability to work in a team environment and communicate effectively with colleagues and stakeholders
