Position Overview:
This role necessitates a Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field of Science or Mathematics. Candidates should possess a minimum of 5 years of relevant professional experience, or alternatively, a Master's degree accompanied by 3 years of applicable experience.

Security Clearance Requirements:
It is essential to have the ability to secure a Department of Defense Secret security clearance at the time of employment. Selected candidates will undergo a U.S. Government security investigation and must fulfill eligibility criteria for access to classified information. Due to the nature of the work conducted within our facilities, U.S. citizenship is mandatory.

Essential Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
  • In-depth understanding and proficient application of systems engineering principles, concepts, and theories.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of cybersecurity standards such as Risk Management Framework (RMF), DIACAP, STIGs, and other governmental security guidelines.
  • Strong awareness of current cybersecurity technologies and trends.
  • Contributes effectively to the realization of business objectives.
  • Recognizes and integrates various security designs and lessons learned.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Able to effectively present concepts and ideas.
  • Skilled in communicating issues, impacts, and corrective measures as they pertain to cybersecurity design and implementation.
  • Proficient in clearly documenting relevant cybersecurity systems engineering designs.
  • Regular interaction with senior levels of internal security teams.
  • Ability to participate in or lead security-focused workgroups.
  • Works under minimal supervision.
  • Engages with project leaders and other professionals within the Engineering department and project teams.
  • Maintains communication with external customers' security professionals.
  • Creative thinker with strong multitasking abilities.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Must be capable of obtaining a Secret Clearance.
