JOB DESCRIPTION: School Office Support Specialist
SUMMARY
The role involves ensuring the integrity of student records and providing essential administrative support.
- Delivering exceptional customer service and secretarial assistance
- Overseeing student attendance and managing daily visitor interactions
- Facilitating the student registration process and organizing the master schedule
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Ensure the accuracy of student records and databases
- Provide high-quality customer service and administrative support
- Oversee the daily attendance tracking for students
- Prepare and distribute academic reports and progress updates
- Coordinate registration events and monitor student progress
- Develop and maintain the master schedule for courses
EDUCATION AND RELATED WORK EXPERIENCE:
- High School diploma or equivalent qualification
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in office administration and computer usage
- Experience with school-aged children is preferred
LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS or CERTIFICATIONS:
- A criminal background check is mandatory for employment
- CPR and First Aid certifications are advantageous
- Completion of District Student Information System certification training is required
BUDGET AND/OR RESOURCE RESPONSIBILITY:
- This position does not involve budgetary responsibilities
SALARY INFORMATION:
- Compensation is hourly and based on the grade of the position and relevant experience.- Opportunities for advancement are available based on prior experience.
