Insurance Claims Specialist

The Insurance Claims Specialist is a critical member of our team, responsible for coordinating and administering the company's casualty and property insurance claims. This role requires strong analytical and organizational skills, as well as excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 7 years of experience in insurance claims management, with a focus on automobile, workers compensation, and third-party property claims. A bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Risk Management, or a related field is preferred, but not required.
The Insurance Claims Specialist will work closely with our Operations team, insurance third-party administrators, and other stakeholders to ensure an efficient and comprehensive claims administration process. This includes reviewing and evaluating work-related accident reports, analyzing data to ensure compliance with policy and regulatory requirements, and educating and advising employees and departments on compliance issues.
The successful candidate will also be responsible for maintaining contact with individuals inside and outside the company who may impact workers compensation, health, and safety issues. They will identify and analyze problems regarding workers compensation claims, recommend investigation and surveillance, and monitor attendance and medical appointments of employees on workers compensation.
Additionally, the Insurance Claims Specialist will refine methods of recording workers compensation injury information, review records and reports to ensure compliance with state statutes, and maintain and audit workers compensation data and payroll systems.

About You:- Minimum 7 years of experience in insurance claims management
- Relevant experience related to automobile, workers compensation, and third-party property claims
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Risk Management, or a related field (preferred)
- Certified Professional Claims Adjuster (CPCA) or Certified Claims Adjuster (CCA) Certified Workers' Compensation Professional (CWCP) or Associate in Claims (AIC) (beneficial)
