  • Policy and Procedure Development
    • Review, recommend, and implement approved policies and procedures to ensure compliance.
    • Develop and review work requests from departments.
  • Vendor Management
    • Act as a liaison with outside vendors and suppliers of materials and equipment.
  • Facilities Planning and Development
    • Plan and recommend development of physical facilities.
    • Review plans for construction, make recommendations, and oversee facility development.
  • Budgeting and Financial Management
    • Develop and prepare capital, recurrent expense, and salary budgets.
    • Monitor expenditures to ensure operation within budgetary limits.
  • Performance Management
    • Select, develop, manage, and evaluate direct reports.
    • Oversee the selection, development, management, and evaluation of indirect reports.
  • Quality Management and Performance Improvement
    • Develop and oversee quality management and performance improvement initiatives and programs.
  • Regulatory Compliance
    • Collaborate with organization Public Safety and oversee Fire and Safety drills.
    • Ensure compliance with related government and agency laws and regulations.
Requirements
  • Education
    • Bachelor's Degree required, or equivalent combination of education and related experience.
    • Master's Degree preferred.
  • Experience
    • 8-12 years of relevant experience and 7+ years of leadership/management experience required.
    • Prior healthcare engineering experience strongly preferred.
  • Certifications
    • OSHA certification preferred.
