As a key member of the NYC Health + Hospitals team, the Director of Facilities Management will oversee the financial operations of Lincoln Medical and Mental Health Center. This includes planning, directing, and controlling the receipt, posting, processing, and distribution of invoices and other supporting documents for all accounting transactions. The successful candidate will provide systematic and regular reports and analysis to show the current status of the financial condition of Lincoln Hospital or healthcare setting, and maintain books of accounts to meet the needs of the facility.
Key Responsibilities
- Directs organizational sectors in accounting, grant administration, Property Office, fiscal and financial areas such as accounts payable, healthcare setting management, and cost reporting systems.
- Plans, directs, and coordinates budgeting operations to ensure accurate and timely receipts, disbursements, management, and cost reports.
- Ensures accurate financial controls over financial operations and maintains complete and adequate records for recording all financial transactions and the issuance of periodic reports.
- Provides leadership to direct reports for grant administration, Property Office, and OTPS administration.
- Develops specific financial reports from accumulated actual data and provides cost analysis and reports for special variable situations using operating statistics.
Requirements
- Master's degree from an accredited college or university in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related discipline with an emphasis on accounting and financial systems.
- Four (4) years of responsible-level experience in fiscal management or administration with an emphasis on financial systems, management information, and controls.
- Three (3) years of which must have been in a responsible administrative or managerial capacity.
