Job Title: Sous ChefWe are seeking an experienced Sous Chef who is passionate about providing exceptional dining experiences to our guests while leading our kitchen team with professionalism and dynamism.
Key Responsibilities- Run BOH shifts and ensure efficient operations, including food preparation, inventory management, and supervising kitchen staff.
- Partner with the General Manager and Executive Chef to create prep lists and assign production duties to ensure smooth kitchen operations.
- Perform regular line checks to maintain high-quality menu items.
- Purchase and order food products and supplies, and assist with tracking and controlling food costs.
- Ensure effective communication between front-of-house and back-of-house teams.
- Supervise and develop BOH employees, and address performance issues as needed.
- Work a variety of shifts, including early mornings, late nights, and weekends.
- Previous experience as a lead line cook or sous chef required.
- Strong knowledge of cooking styles, ingredients, equipment, and processes.
- Excellent time-management skills and ability to work as a team.
- Food Handler Certificate or ServSafe Certified.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and lift up to 50 pounds.
