Job Title: Sous Chef

We are seeking an experienced Sous Chef who is passionate about providing exceptional dining experiences to our guests while leading our kitchen team with professionalism and dynamism.

Key Responsibilities
  • Run BOH shifts and ensure efficient operations, including food preparation, inventory management, and supervising kitchen staff.
  • Partner with the General Manager and Executive Chef to create prep lists and assign production duties to ensure smooth kitchen operations.
  • Perform regular line checks to maintain high-quality menu items.
  • Purchase and order food products and supplies, and assist with tracking and controlling food costs.
  • Ensure effective communication between front-of-house and back-of-house teams.
  • Supervise and develop BOH employees, and address performance issues as needed.
  • Work a variety of shifts, including early mornings, late nights, and weekends.
Requirements
  • Previous experience as a lead line cook or sous chef required.
  • Strong knowledge of cooking styles, ingredients, equipment, and processes.
  • Excellent time-management skills and ability to work as a team.
  • Food Handler Certificate or ServSafe Certified.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and lift up to 50 pounds.
