Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled and experienced working chef or sous chef to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for Mediterranean cuisine, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to work well under pressure.
Key Responsibilities- Improve kitchen organization and efficiency
- Develop and implement cost-effective specials
- Provide high-quality food descriptions for menus
- Order ingredients and supplies
- Collaborate with the team to improve kitchen productivity
- Maintain health department standards in food storage and preparation
- 2+ years of experience as a sous chef or chef in a fast-paced restaurant
- Strong knowledge of Mediterranean cuisine and flavors
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines
- Basic knowledge of Spanish is a plus
