The Role

We're seeking an experienced Account Manager II - Inside to join our team. As a key member of our sales organization, you'll be responsible for growing revenue in small to medium-sized customer accounts. Your primary focus will be on developing long-term, consultative relationships with our customers, identifying opportunities to deepen and expand our relationship, and maximizing revenue while minimizing account churn.

Main Responsibilities
  • Protect and grow base revenue, meeting or exceeding growth quotas to maximize revenue within assigned customer base.
  • Identify decision-makers, determine customer needs, and position solutions to meet those needs.
  • Assess product fit and expand product portfolio through customer relationships.
  • Update relevant customer information, including sales funnel activity, opportunity updates, and maintenance of monthly goals.
  • Provide superior customer service with every interaction.
What We Look For in a Candidate
  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent education and 2 years of sales experience.
  • Prior account management experience with a history of retaining and growing existing accounts.
  • Strong oral and written communication, analytical problem-solving, and closing skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel).
Preferred Experience
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree or equivalent education and experience.
  • Demonstrated stable track record of success in an inside/outside sales role.
  • Advanced understanding of technology products and solutions, as well as knowledge of competitor products.
  • Passion for customer service and desire to understand and introduce new technology to customer base.
Compensation

The starting salary for this role varies based on primary work location. Employees typically do not start at the top of the range, and compensation depends on individual qualifications.

Location-based pay ranges are as follows:

  • $46,020 in AR, ID, KY, LA, ME, MS, NE, SC, and SD.
  • $48,580 in AZ, AL, FL, GA, IN, IA, KS, MO, MT, NM, ND, OH, OK, PA, TN, UT, VT, WV, WI, and WY.
  • $67,810 in CO, HI, MI, MN, NV, NH, NC, OR, and RI.
  • $71,040 in AK, CA, CT, DE, DC, IL, MD, MA, NJ, NY, TX, VA, and WA.

As with pay range variety based on region, specific offers are determined by various factors, including experience, education, skills, certifications, and other business needs.
