Anesthesiologist - Physician Affiliate Group of New York

We are seeking a highly skilled Anesthesiologist to join our team at Physician Affiliate Group of New York. As a key member of our department, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and contributing to the growth and development of our team.
Key Responsibilities- Determine and prescribe anesthetics and procedures for various categories of cases, including pediatrics, obstetrics, neurology, orthopedics, and plastics.
- Advise anesthetists and surgeons on complex cases, providing guidance on anesthesia, dosages, and post-operative complications.
- Review case histories and take responsibility for all matters related to anesthesiology.
- Lecture and train anesthetists, residents, and auxiliary staff on various aspects of anesthesiology.
Our department at NYC Health + Hospitals/Harlem is a dynamic and tight-knit team that fosters a collaborative environment. We work closely with residents from Metropolitan Hospital and osteopathic students from Touro College of Osteopathic Medicine.

Requirements- A license to practice medicine in the State of New York.
- Experience in block placement in upper and lower extremities is preferred but not required.
- Board eligibility or certification in anesthesiology.
We offer a comprehensive benefits package, including a base salary, paid call, faculty practice plan bonus, and additional days paid. We also offer 401K employer contribution, medical benefits, dental benefits, generous PTO, sick time, and CME days plus CME dollars.
Eligibility for loan forgiveness through the National Student Debt Forgiveness Center is also available. Visa candidates are considered.
CompensationThe annual base salary range is $390,000 (board eligible) to $400,000 (board certified).
