Gastroenterologist - Physician Affiliate Group of New York

We are seeking a highly skilled Gastroenterologist to join our team at Physician Affiliate Group of New York. As a key member of our Department of Medicine, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and contributing to the academic mission of our institution.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct comprehensive medical evaluations, including history and physical exams, to determine appropriate diagnoses and treatment plans.
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests, such as endoscopies and biopsies, to inform treatment decisions.
- Prescribe medications and other treatments to manage patient conditions.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including Advanced Practice Providers, to manage patient care.
- Participate in educational activities, such as teaching and mentoring, to support the academic mission of our institution.
- Contribute to quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and outcomes.
- Medical licensure in the State of New York.
- Board certification or eligibility in Gastroenterology.
- Proficiency in Electronic Medical Record systems, such as Epic.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
