Overview:


The Senior Project Coordinator is responsible for cultivating and sustaining a client portfolio, overseeing Electrical sales, and directing field operations for each assignment.

This role requires the individual to exercise sound judgment and discretion while representing the organization. A high level of dedication and engagement with both the work and the company's objectives is expected.

Project Oversight:

  • The Senior Project Coordinator serves as the primary point of accountability for both the organization and the client.
  • Execute all project oversight functions necessary to facilitate and conclude sales, including conceptual engineering, comprehensive estimations, formal proposals, and direct meetings, leading to successful project execution.
  • Effective management of agreements, encompassing sales, estimation, procurement, and implementation.
  • Supervision of field personnel and installation scheduling in collaboration with the client and the organization's field leadership.

Financial Acumen:

  • Project forecasting, budget preparation, and cost management within established limits.
  • Drafting letters, proposals, memos, contracts, change orders, and strategies to ensure sound business practices and legal safeguards.

  • Billing and understanding job expenditures.
Fostering and managing relationships with both internal and external stakeholders:

  • External: Lead client meetings and develop contracts to finalize sales.
Maintain positive relationships with all clients, including vendors, subcontractors, and industry partners.

  • Internal: Provide guidance, leadership, and coordination across all organizational departments, including Engineering, Purchasing, Accounting, Construction, and Service during project execution in a timely manner.
  • Participate in special projects, committees, etc., to enhance the organization's technical capabilities in engineering, planning, estimation, and installation processes.

Effective Communication:

  • Engage with relevant personnel across the organization, including all Management and Department Heads.
  • Attend all Project Management Sales and Construction Meetings.
  • Organize and coordinate pre-construction meetings with department heads and supervisors.
Utilize internal resources to the fullest extent necessary to meet client requirements:

  • The Project Coordinator collaborates with and coordinates staff from all departments as needed for each project.
Throughout the project lifecycle, the Project Coordinator supervises and manages team members assigned to the project to achieve the project vision and fulfill the contracted scope in alignment with client expectations.

Mentorship: Act as a mentor to others, actively engaging in recruiting, training, and coaching sales personnel to support departmental initiatives and growth.

Additional responsibilities and special projects as assigned by upper management to achieve mutually agreed-upon objectives.

Position Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.

10+ years of experience in estimating, design, and management of electrical projects ranging from $50,000 to over $100 million.

Ability to operate independently and autonomously.

Exhibit a high level of integrity.

Proven experience in business development.

Strong interpersonal and project management skills, with the ability to effectively respond to a high volume of issues.

Maintain a presence in industry-related or community-based organizations.

The employee is occasionally required to reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl, especially when conducting site inspections.

Must possess and maintain a valid driver's license and have the ability to operate a vehicle.

Regular and routine attendance is expected.

Typical Work Hours:
Monday to Friday, with start times as early as 6:00 am and concluding by 7:00 pm.

Travel Requirements:
Based on business needs, travel may be required to various locations for project oversight.

Compensation:
Salary range of $125,000 to $175,000 annually. Please note that actual compensation is determined by various factors unique to each candidate, including job-related skills, experience, certifications, education, and specific work location. The offered salary is just one component of the total compensation package.
