We are seeking a skilled Occupational Therapy Assistant to join our team at Cullman Regional Medical Center. As an Occupational Therapy Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing patient care and completing documentation in a timely and accurate manner.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform patient care and complete documentation in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Demonstrate critical thinking skills and reasoning processes in carrying out the plan of care.
  • Assure patient charges and productivity reports are performed accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Demonstrate organizational time management by completing work in a timely manner, utilizing available staff and resources, and not incurring any unapproved overtime.
  • Demonstrate and encourage team behavior and exceptional patient/guest experiences.
  • Uphold and promote patient safety and quality.

Qualifications:

  • Graduate of an accredited occupational therapy assistant program and currently licensed in the state of Alabama.
  • New graduate accepted; experienced outpatient therapy assistant preferred.
  • Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Must have basic computer skills.
  • Must have strong interpersonal skills.
  • Must have knowledge of the regulatory requirements at the state, federal, and local level.
