Physical Therapist/PT Role at Right at Home Cullman
We are seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist to become a vital member of our compassionate in-home care team. As a PRN Physical Therapist, you will help clients enhance their daily living skills through thorough evaluations, personalized treatment plans, and effective therapy.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Assessment & Evaluation: Conduct thorough evaluations of clients' physical abilities and needs.
- Personalized Treatment Plans: Develop tailored plans to enhance mobility and strength.
- Follow Established Care Plans: Implement and adhere to established care plans to ensure consistent and effective therapy.
- Therapeutic Activities: Implement exercises and activities to promote recovery and independence.
- Client Education: Teach clients and families strategies for managing conditions and enhancing function.
- Progress Monitoring: Assess client progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly.
- Collaboration: Work closely with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate records of assessments and treatment plans.
- Advocacy: Support clients in navigating healthcare resources.
- Emotional Support: Encourage clients to stay motivated throughout their rehabilitation journey.
Requirements:
- Education: Doctoral or Master's Degree in Physical Therapy.
- Licensure: Valid Alabama PT license.
- Experience: In-home physical therapy experience preferred.
- Physical Capability: Ability to lift/move up to 50 lbs without assistance.
- Driver's License: Valid license and current automobile insurance.
- Background Check: Must pass a criminal background check.
