Role Overview As a Landscape Operations Manager, you will play a vital role in overseeing the maintenance and enhancement of outdoor spaces and sports turf areas. This includes managing the preparation and restoration of fields for events, ensuring compliance with safety standards, and leading a dedicated team to achieve operational excellence. Key Responsibilities Include:
  • Coordinate and oversee daily operations to ensure efficiency and timely completion of tasks. Prioritize activities based on environmental conditions and upcoming events.
  • Provide insights on necessary materials and equipment to fulfill operational needs while adhering to budget constraints.
  • Establish and maintain an inventory management system for all supplies and equipment, collaborating with vendors as necessary.
  • Assist in the recruitment, training, and development of team members to ensure compliance with safety regulations and operational standards.
  • Perform essential landscaping tasks, including turf maintenance, shrub pruning, and flower bed care.
  • Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of grounds by managing waste and debris.
  • Exhibit a courteous and professional demeanor when interacting with guests and stakeholders.
  • Proactively identify and address potential issues to maintain high standards of service.
  • Ensure the landscape design is preserved and enhanced, promoting healthy and vibrant ecosystems.
  • Foster strong collaborative relationships across departments to support organizational goals.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
  • High School diploma or equivalent; a degree or certification in a landscape-related field is preferred.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in landscape management.
  • Possession of a valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Ability to perform physical tasks, including prolonged walking, standing, and lifting.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends.
  • Capability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
  • Physical stamina to kneel and lift heavy objects as required.
Physical Requirements: Candidates must be able to perform essential functions, including lifting up to 50 pounds, climbing, and maintaining balance. This role involves prolonged periods of standing and movement, requiring good manual dexterity and coordination. Environmental Conditions: The work environment includes both indoor and outdoor settings, with exposure to varying weather conditions and noise levels.
