Job Title: Regional Sales Manager

At Desktop Metal, we're pioneering a new generation of additive manufacturing technologies. As a Regional Sales Manager, you'll play a critical role in driving business performance by managing customer accounts in a specific region. Your focus will be on exceeding quarterly sales targets for production metal additive printers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prospect and initiate sales contacts with senior-level executives, responding to customer inquiries and following up on action items.
  • Drive sales campaigns, leveraging a proven sales process to secure new orders and negotiate pricing, delivery, and related matters.
  • Create rolling 90-day forecasts and ensure execution and accuracy, taking action to achieve overall business objectives.
  • Attend key industry trade shows and exhibitions, representing Desktop Metal and building relationships with customers and partners.
  • Service existing customer accounts, generating new business opportunities, and providing feedback to marketing and product management on wins, losses, opportunities, and market trends.
Requirements:
  • 5+ years of experience in B2B capital equipment sales with an average sale price of $500k to $2M.
  • Proven success in C-Level sales and financial value selling, with a strong track record of winning new customers.
  • Additive manufacturing industry experience is a plus, with strong technical skills to facilitate conversations.
  • Convincing communication skills, decision-making ability, and a goal-oriented mindset.
  • Excellent organization, time-management, and follow-up ability, with experience in using a CRM system.
