Critical Care Specialist

We are currently seeking a highly skilled Critical Care Specialist to join our team at TotalMed. As an Emergency Room Registered Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing specialized care in fast-paced emergency settings.
### Job Summary
The Critical Care Specialist will be responsible for assessing and treating patients with emergent medical conditions, administering medications, performing procedures, and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to stabilize patients and ensure optimal outcomes.
### Key Responsibilities:
- Provide rapid assessment and treatment to patients with emergent medical conditions in a dynamic emergency room environment.
- Administer medications, perform procedures, and collaborate with healthcare teams to address critical patient needs.
- Monitor patient vital signs, response to treatment, and changes in condition, adjusting care plans as necessary to address emergent needs.
- Advocate for patients' needs and coordinate care transitions, including admissions to inpatient units or referrals to specialty services.
- Educate patients and their families on post-emergency care instructions, follow-up appointments, and community resources for ongoing support.
### Requirements and Qualifications:
- Certified RN license
- BLS (Other certifications may be required by the facility)
- At least two years of recent ER RN experience
- Strong communication and adaptability skills
### Compensation and Benefits:
As a valued member of our team, the Critical Care Specialist can expect a competitive salary range of $95,000 - $120,000 per year, based on location and experience.
