Job OverviewThe Vice President of Marketing is a key member of our leadership team, responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive marketing strategy that aligns with our business objectives. This individual will lead a diverse team, optimize marketing operations, and ensure effective collaboration across departments such as sales, product development, and customer support.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and Execute Marketing Strategy:
- Create and implement a cohesive marketing strategy to increase brand awareness, market share, and customer loyalty.
- Oversee marketing campaigns, product launches, promotions, and brand messaging across all channels (digital, social media, content, PR, etc.).
- Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify market trends, customer needs, and growth opportunities.
- Ensure all marketing activities are consistent with the company's brand positioning and objectives.
- Brand Management:
- Develop and maintain the company's brand image, ensuring consistent messaging and visual identity across all marketing materials and touchpoints.
- Drive brand positioning and messaging that resonates with target audiences and differentiates the company from competitors.
- Digital Marketing and Lead Generation:
- Oversee the company's digital marketing efforts, including SEO, SEM, PPC, email marketing, and social media.
- Lead efforts to generate qualified leads for the sales team, leveraging a data-driven approach to optimize marketing spend and customer acquisition costs (CAC).
- Stay current with digital marketing trends and technologies to ensure the company remains competitive.
- Budgeting and Financial Management:
- Develop and manage the marketing budget, ensuring effective allocation of resources.
- Measure the ROI of marketing campaigns and initiatives, using data and analytics to inform decisions and optimize performance.
- Collaborate with the finance team to develop financial forecasts and ensure alignment with overall business goals.
- Collaboration with Other Departments:
- Work closely with product, sales, and customer support teams to ensure marketing strategies align with business objectives and customer needs.
- Support product development by providing customer insights and market trends.
- Partner with the sales team to create and execute go-to-market strategies for new products and services.
- Public Relations and Communications:
- Oversee the company's PR and media relations strategy, ensuring positive media coverage and crisis communication.
- Serve as the primary spokesperson for marketing-related initiatives when necessary.
- Develop internal communications that promote company values and culture.
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, or a related field (MBA preferred).
- 10+ years of experience in marketing, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
- Proven experience developing and executing successful marketing strategies.
- Strong understanding of digital marketing, brand management, and lead generation.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and manage large marketing teams.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
- Data-driven mindset with proficiency in marketing analytics and reporting tools.
- Ability to work cross-functionally and influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Knowledge of the latest marketing technologies and tools.
- Experience marketing in a healthcare environment.
