STS Technical Services is in search of experienced Aircraft Fuel Cell Technicians (Class A) to contribute to our operations. Key Responsibilities:
- Fuel Tank Maintenance: Execute preventive maintenance and modification tasks on aircraft fuel tanks in accordance with maintenance manuals and data.
- Task Management: Perform assigned duties, ensuring that maintenance activities are conducted in the proper order and that inspections are requested promptly.
- Tool and Equipment Management: Guarantee that all testing instruments and tools utilized for airworthiness assessments are calibrated, labeled, and up-to-date.
- Documentation: Meticulously document all work completed in the relevant maintenance records and fulfill any additional paperwork requirements.
- Workplace Safety: Uphold a tidy and organized work environment, promptly reporting any unsafe practices or conditions to management.
- Regulatory Compliance: Stay informed about FAR part 145 and 43, as well as the company’s Repair Station Manual and Quality Control Manual.
- Time Management: Log time spent on tasks and communicate effectively with management to ensure a smooth workflow.
- Confined Space Work: Be prepared to work in small, confined areas as required by the job.
Qualifications:
- Experience: At least 4 years of experience in aircraft fuel system maintenance.
- Technical Knowledge: Comprehensive knowledge, experience, and/or training in executing assigned maintenance tasks.
- Regulatory Familiarity: Understanding of FAR part 145 and 43, along with company repair and quality control manuals.
- Attention to Detail: Ability to accurately adhere to maintenance manuals and data, ensuring all tasks are completed to the highest standards.
- Safety Conscious: Strong dedication to maintaining a safe working environment and adhering to all safety regulations.
Preferred Skills:
- FAA A&P License: Holding an FAA A&P license is preferred, and the ability to instruct is an advantage.
Compensation:
- Pay Rate: The regular hourly straight-time rate ranges from $27.00 to $29.00, depending on qualifications, training, and licensure status. Overtime is compensated at time and a half based on the regular straight-time pay rate.
